Pharmacy is sub par. Had a prescription called in and was notified it would be ready same day. Went to pick it up same day and was told they were "Out Of Stock". After wasting 30 minutes of my lunch and day in the drive thru they told me to come back later that day and it would be ready. I do not waste your time, so I don't expect you to waste mine either. Get it together Pharmacy Dept. Quality of Service Stinks. Communication Stinks. Don't waste your time at this Pharmacy.

My mother and I used to spend a lot of money in Walgreens. We have always gotten our prescriptions filled there, plus they have a pretty good selection of things. Ever since my father was put on hospice, the pharmacy has been terrible. I dont know if they are equipped to deal with that or not (obviously some of the people arent) but the service turned into well...I wont go into that. One of his prescriptions was actually filled wrong! (We followed the directions on the box and ran out. Since it was a narcotic, he had to suffer since the doctor could not write another script. Thanks God it did not harm him...did I mention he is a hospice patient?) After the nurse spoke with the manager and we may have gotten them in ‘trouble’ - the service we got was down right ridiculous. Before that, they were always somewhat courteous and swift at the drive-thru. After that incident, one time I had to wait 9 minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. (I know that seems short, but its not. They looked at me, knew I was there, 4 people were working and no one else was in line inside or in the drive thru. They could at least have said Ill be with you in a moment - or you may need to come inside so you wont waste gas while we pitter patter. I had to time it because this was not the first time Ive waited) They act like 5 year olds. My father calls to make sure the scripts are ready (since my mother cant leave him, I have to pick them up), they say they are ready, and when I get there, I have to wait or come back. (I am a full time worker, a full time student and I leave work only to go help my mother out. I dont have time for childish games.) My parents have always been loyal, but I refuse to go back there. As I am writing this, CVS is taking over. I can only hope that their staff takes responsibility for their mistakes if they make them and act like adults if a problem does arise. Walgreens pharmacy staff…grow up and do your job or quit! Thanks for reading – hope you dont have the same problem.
