Walgreens

Love this Walgreens, best staff in the world. Friendly, fast, and able to deal with all the customers that come in. As for the Drive thru, I think no matter what your doing it is going to take more then 10 min per car. Add to that 10 min per customer that is standing in line. I am pretty sure customers standing in line get priority over the drive thru.
If you want a quick response time in the pharmacy drive-thru, then avoid this particular Walgreens like the plague!! Don't get me wrong, I like Walgreens. I've used the Trophy Club location for my prescriptions on many occasions and they are always fast and friendly. My experience at this Walgreens made me mad enough to write my first review.....of ANYTHING. Let's set the stage - I have a very precocious 3 year old and a 3 month old who, at the time, was sleeping in his carseat. I chose to go to the drive-thru thinking that this would save me from having to take two small children into the store. I was WRONG. When I arrived, there were 3 cars ahead of me. After sitting for 20 minutes in the drive-thru, 1 of the cars got fed up and left and neither of the 2 remaining cars had been serviced. I drove around the store, parked my car, unloaded my 2 small children, walked through the store, stood in line behind another couple, and was walking up to the pharmacy cashier before the 1st car in the drive-thru pulled away. I received my prescription before the car ahead of me (the 2nd car in line) received theirs. The sad thing is that this particular episode is common to this location. Even when there are NO cars in the drive-thru, it is normal to wait more than 10 minutes for a prescription. Another time, I waited for almost 10 minutes before someone even spoke to me. I put up with the service because this is the closest Walgreens location to my home and having 2 small children means I try to simplify my excursions as much as possible. Well, NO MORE! It's worth the drive not to have to put up with such poor service. So, in short, I'd recommend that you choose a different Walgreens if you're looking for a fast drive-thru experience. You could grow whatever plant or bacteria necessary to formulate your prescription faster than the people working at the drive-thru can fill it.
