NextCare Urgent Care
Reviews
Avoid! You'll most likely be told that you need to go to the ER anyway. The staff at NextCare provide terrible and thoughtless customer service. I have gone here twice: both times with my kids and have been sent away both times because they were supposedly unequipped to care for my kids (one who needed stitches and another who had been throwing up). The "team" that I spoke to at NextCare was incredibly dismissive and seemed bothered that I was even there. In hindsight, even the NextCare staff did offer to care for my family, I would not trust that the care provided was thorough and conducted by well-educated and informed medical personnel who care more about the person needing medical attention than the fact that they are supposed to close in ten minutes.
BEWARE!!!! Last night my daughter had 104.1 fever. I called the local number (it routes you to the Arizona location) and they told me there were 2 people ahead of me and to go home and wait for their call. They also said if they don't call by 7:00pm to go up there since it closes at 8pm. WELL, they didn't call and we went up there. They told me that they were full and we will not be seen and that the corporate people have no idea what is going on in the actual locations. They refused to see my daughter who was burning up with fever and could not even give me another place to send her to. This is not only appalling, but borders on legal neglect and malpractice. These people were not helful, rude and had NO compassion. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! We drove 15 minutes to Lone Star family on loop 336 and they were wonderful, efficient, compassionate and half the price!!!
Took our 9 month old son there a few days ago. He had 102.3 since noon and wouldnt stop crying. The receptionist was nice and so was the doctor. They checked him out (looked in his ears, eyes, listen to his lungs and temp was 99.7) and told us he was fighting off an infection due to a cold he had a few weeks ago and to give him Motrin & Tylenol. We get home and his temp was 102.2 It was bad night as he didn't sleep or drink. Next day I took him to his doctor where he was diagnosed with Hand, Foot & Mouth with blisters in his mouth.
Doctor did not call in RX to pharmacy and did not fill out chart. When we call to get the problem fixed we were told the Doctor is off and we should call back in 2 day because they could or would not call the Doctor. Poor customer service.
I was here this morning and they were compassionate, quick, and really thorough. Thought I had the flu but ended up being a bad bronchitis. They were really helpful and didn't just turn me away saying it was just a virus. Recommend them to everyone.
