Walmart Supercenter
Reviews
This location has Many Rude Employees, which unfortunately makes it more difficult for those employees who are respectful and nice. After being witness to a recent encounter another customer had with an employee, I decided it was time to write a review. Normally I try not to leave negative feedback, but this isn't the first time I've seen rude employees here. I was at this location yesterday 4/25/2013 around 5:00 pm looking in the nail polish section of the store. An older female employee was working the area re-arranging the polishes. A customer with her two young children was next to me looking at the polishes. Apparently this customer was considering a polish and decided to open the bottle to take a close look at the color (something I don't do, but it's clear others do). When the customer did this, I suddenly heard a very loud employee raise her voice at the customer saying "Mam! What are you doing?! Don't open those bottles! Once you do that they become unsanitary! Hand it to me now, because now I have to put it in with my unsanitary stock to be put away!" The customer was surprisingly graceful and simply said, "okay, sorry"...in a very soft tone, not rude at all. The whole incident made me so uncomfortable. I can imagine that several isles down, other customers heard the employees rude outburst on that customer and it made them feel awkward as well. It just wasn't at all professional. While I can understand that the customer should not have opened the bottle, I can't help but feel the employee, as a representative of Walmart, should have handled it more discreetly and with more grace. I thinks it's 100% unprofessional and shows a lack of tact when an employee makes a public spectacle to correct a customer who otherwise wasn't being rude or demanding. The employee also didn't leave a good impression as to her knowledge level of a product either. If you're going to spout comments and pronounce them loudly as if they're facts, be sure you know exactly what you're talking about. The employee claimed the nail polish becomes "unsanitary" when opened. Well the employee was way off on her unsanitary comment. Nail Polish is a self sanitizing product! Every time you dip the brush into the polish it will kill the pathogens that are on it. Therefore making it safe to use on multiple clients. I mean the nail salon located within the Walmarts themselves use the same bottle on multiple clients. I hope that this will somehow make it back to the employee who was working or that the store managers will take note and re-educate their employee on how to respectfully handle customers.
BE PREPARED TO WAIT AT LEAST 2 OR MORE HOURS FOR AN OIL CHANGE!! If you dont read my post thats fine but just keep in mind the guys in TLE are not very educated and it will take them over 2 hours to change your oil EVEN AT 8 in the morning! Took my van in at 8:45 am was told by the cashier that it would only take 45 mins - 1 hour. My husband told the cashier 3 times that we wanted a different oil filter than what walmart offers. The guy told my husband that would be fine if they had it (which they did because my husband went and looked on the shelf just to make sure.) After waiting over 1 hour my van still had not been moved! I went up to the cashier and asked how much longer until my van was moved into the bay he looked at me like I was stupid and said he would check the computer. He then said "Yeah it has been sitting for awhile let me go back there and see whats going on" So as I wait the original cashier guy that checked us in came up to me and said I told you it would be 45 mins to 1 hour and I looked at him and said its been over an hour! He then told me that the worker was on break and he hadn't returned from break yet and they couldn't find him!!!! 1 hr and 30 mins later they finally moved my van back there! After they get done they call us to the front and what do u know the SOBS didnt put the right oil filter on that we asked for 3 times! The cashier tried to tell my husband they didnt have it and my husband went and grabbed it off the shelf and said yes you do. The cashier looked all nervous and took it back to the bay and then came back and told us that the dumb a$$ in the back said he just forgot that we wanted a different oil filter and they would change it asap!! Needless to say I called the store manager on these dumb sobs! PS. This wasn't the first time this has happened to us and the department manager Jerry will NOT do anything about his workers!
