Stay away from this quack. This 'Dentist' hooked my face twice (nose and upper lip) with his instruments while turning to answer a question from a receptionist - super glad he didn't spear my eye. Misquoted prices for services are quite common, as are estimated insurance payout options. This guy also signed me up for a deep cleaning of my gums (NOT covered by insurance) without saying anything - it was supposed to be a routine cleaning. I had to ask what all the extra stuff was for. They also take multiple visits for one cleaning - wasting your day. Also, watch out for the office staff and their billing numbers. The funny thing is, this jerk sent all sorts of surveys and 'feedback' or reminder items (so many that I asked him to stop while I was still a patient). I gave him dismal reviews on the surveys and he kept right on doing the same thing! After he hooked my face (twice) (passive aggressive idiot) I quit. I am writing this review because he STILL is harassing me (two years later) with letters about his BS concern for my teeth. Sorry dude, your 'concern' is laughable.
Had a great visit for cleaning. The hygenist was gentle and used only the hand-tools for my cleaning since my teeth and gums are ultra-sensitive. She even used a swab to apply additional numbing so I would be comfortable throughout the cleaning and, after asking for my approval, applied a 'varnish' at the end of the cleaning which should help with my sensitivity issues in the future. To top it off, Hart Dental made my next cleaning appt, right while I was in the chair waiting to be seen by the dentist for a final check, AND gave me the coolest package of dental supplies including a new brush, floss, mouthwash, and floss in a travel-sized ziplock bag. I think I'll take THAT one to work!
Recently had an emergency root canal and had the worst dental experience I've every had. I felt a bit like an object laying on the table. When I would bring up concerns, they were dismissed. Dr. Hart was nice enough but I don't think he took me seriously. Several times I was left laying on the table while he attended to other patients and he had a discussion with the dental assistant about where all their patients had gone to while I was laying there. By the time I left I was in sooo much pain and there was no concern for my well being. I had difficulty afterwards and when I called in, Dr. Hart was out of town for several days and I was left to figure out what to do. I have to go back in to get the cap put on but I'm going to finish the job elsewhere. Maybe I just came on a bad day, but I won't be going back.
I took my daughter here and she is 5. They said that she needed a root canal and had several cavities. I was a little surprised because she is very diligent in brushing but I trusted them and went ahead and had a root canal done on a baby tooth because Dr Hart said she will need it for years still. They also charged us for gas which she did not use and said they would go ahead and give us a credit or refund. We then proceeded to have my son checked out and he also needed a root canal. His work was going to cost us about $1500 after insurance. I thought that was high so I went ahead and took him to another dentist. He didn't even need a root canal. Thank goodness I went somewhere else. It saved me over $1000 dollars. I also went to go and collect on the credit for the gas that we didn't use and they said that we didn't have a credit. I am not one to write a bad review but i think that the public should be aware in case they seem to be over charged here.
