I decided to try Corner Canyon Dentistry after driving by their office which looked very nice and finding out they accepted my insurance. When I called, the receptionist was cheerful, kind, and understanding. She booked both my husband and I back to back and worked around my schedule. The office is outstandingly beautiful and remolded! I felt like I was entering a spa with elegant furnishings and calming music. I was impressed. My husband has severe dental anxiety and after his appointment I was surprised to see that he was laughing, joking, and very comfortable without any medications. He told me later that it was the best cleaning and exam he had ever received. He said the cleaning was very thorough but very gentle. The hygienist was personable, non-judgmental (I always feel judged when I go to the dentist but I didn't here), and seemed genuinely invested in your dental health as a person, not just a paycheck. By the time it was my turn, I felt like she knew my whole life story with how much she had spoken to my husband in the process of making him comfortable. Dr Holt was great and explained in detail all the fillings I would need and where while showing me exactly which teeth were most at risk on the ceiling screen. He didn't try to pressure me into any unnecessary treatments and made me feel very comfortable in knowing that I would be taken care of (again, no judgement). Before leaving, I was given a steaming lavender scented towel to wipe anything off my mouth that might be bothersome and a chapstick to help my dry lips well as a little baggy of sample floss, toothbrush, etc. We were given a detailed printout of which teeth were diagnosed and an itemized cost on the suggested treatments as well as how much my insurance would be covering. It was great for taking out the guesswork and making it easy for me to budget. I would highly recommend this practice. Fantastic on all acounts.
