This is my very first time ever writing a review but after the experience I had today at My. Eye Dr. in Lorton, VA, I could not help myself. My daughter went in for a contact lense exam and to get a year's supply of contacts. We used to be frequent customers of My. Eye Dr. in Stafford and always walked away paying approximately $100 after insurance. Today I was quoted $254 after insurance for an eye exam and contacts. I was told that my total was over $500 althought the contact lense was only $240 (of which insurance covered $120). This means the stupid eye exam & fitting was approx $300? That's a freaking rip off!!! This place is a rip off and I will never return. I would rather go to Costco or Walmart and pay cash without using my insurance.

I bought two pairs of glasses, was told two weeks for pickup. I went to the store two days after the pick up date, but only one pair was there. The clerk had no explanation why my second pair of glasses were not in. When I went back to pick up the second pair of glasses the frames were bent and the lenses were the wrong shape. Would not purchase from the store again.
