Urgent Care Center
Reviews
I can't rate it zero stars, so I'll have to settle for one star. As usual, with Urgent Care clinics, it took a while to be seen even with an appointment. I had gone to this center because of severe side pain (very light for a day however got very severe the day I went in). They took a urine sample, checked me over, then gave me prescriptions for Aciphex, and Hydrocodone for my pain. They also recommended an ultrasound to rule out a gall bladder issue. At this time I was not given any antibiotic, nor did they do any bloodwork. I decided to cancel (unfortunately) my appt the next day with my regular doctor. I was feeling better, especially with the Hydrocodone in me, so I figured I'd give the drugs and me taking tylenol will help. The next day I had a fever. I had a temperature of 103 for the next several days. Two days after my first visit I went back. Again taking quite some time, even though I had an appointment. Again they did not take a blood sample, they just gave me Azithromycin to help fight the fever/infection. Two days after still having the fever with no end in sight, I called up my real doctor (who I should have gone to in the first place) and got in that day (apparently saying you've had a fever of 103 for three days kind of spurs them in motion). A real doctor got bloodwork done on me, found out I had a kidney infection, and gave me a great infection killer. From now on I will never go to an urgent care clinic. The only "good" thing they did was prescribe the Hydrocodone to take the pain away.
