I think that some clerks need to review the manual on HIPAA law because there was definitely a lot of loud commenting on my medical insurance, what it covered, how I qualified for it, and what my medications were, such that half the store could hear. Pharmacy consultations are, I believe something that should go away. Who wants to get a health consultation in front of everyone in line at the pharmacy? Isn't this something that should happen behind a closed door with your healthcare provider and usually does before you pick up your medication? Why does the pharmacist need to get involved? I totally believe in patient confidentiality and if you want it, you'd best not shop here. Particularly at the walk up pharmacy which feels to me like I'm purchasing my healthcare products on the street within full view of all the passing vehicles and foot traffic in this shopping center which isn't the safest place on earth.
