I have been going to the Acupuncture and wellness clinic for almost a year now. I have had chronic neck and shoulder pain for years. I think it all started from a car accident and long term use of the computer doesn't help either. I have had acupuncture since 2008 first in Maryland and then in San Diego before I moved here. I found the acupuncture and wellness clinic on a groupon and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Previous acupuncture clinic only were able to make my pain go away temporarily and I had to come back regularly to manage my pain. But this clinic approached my pain differently, they attack it. And they were able to make my pain essentially go away. My neck and shoulder pain is about 90 to 95% better even with strenuous activity such as weeding my yard. I barely remember what my old pain felt like. I recently returned from a 2 week trip with little increase in pain and discomfort. Whenever I used to travel, I tended to have increase in pain in my neck, shoulder and arm due to lifting luggage and bad posture. But not this time!! I have never had this kind of results with any other treatment in the past. I am going to keep going to get acupuncture as a maintenance so my pain doesn't come back. But the result speak for itself, I never thought I could feel this good again. I also tried the herbs and the new way of eating that the clinic taught me and I have never had more energy. Now I can see 30% more patients (I am also a neurologist) than I had before. I no longer feel like I need to go home and take a nap at the end of the day, which I used to do alot. So there is more time to participate in activities at the end of the day, which my family appreciates as well. Wish I can tell all my patients to try this and get the benefit. Being a western doctor, I am pretty impressed by the results that this clinic produces. I am so grateful for all I able to do now. Again I can't believe the amount of relief I have and how "normal" I feel.

After years of being shuttled from doctor to specialist and coming no closer to discovering what ailed me, I visited the clinic with the hopes of putting an end to my ongoing GI condition. For those who’ve also suffered at the hands of their guts, you’ll know how difficult it is getting proper treatment! (It’s not always helpful having prune juice and bran. Just saying.) Anyway, I made an appointment at the clinic and was met by a warm welcome, which pretty much extended throughout my time at the center. I have to say I was a little reticent to begin with, but it turns out that doubt led way to utter surprise! First of all, I feel like I must have stepped into an alternate universe compared to a lot of other reviewers experiences, as detailed on here. The staff at the desk were incredibly friendly, and very helpful with my forms and scheduling future visits. When it came time to see my acupuncturist, I was led to a private room and spent a good hour talking about my illness, and health history. The responses to my problem were easy to understand and there was no jargon. As I’m new to Chinese Medicine, they explained precisely how the medicine would affect my system. And I understood it! Which lessened the scare factor for me! It was made clear that this wasn’t a “take a pill, get better” kind of place, and even though I have been taking herbs and receiving acupuncture, I still have to be proactive (on mainly the nutrition stuff that they also go through on your first visit.) Second, they explained all of the costs for my specific treatment program up front, and were very thorough in explaining the financial plans available to me. While it might be a bit daunting, I preferred to just get that out of the way so I could focus on getting better and not worrying every week about it. The most important part is of course how it has affected my health. I’m now two months into my treatment and have never felt better! I visit the clinic on a weekly basis and am now energetic, lively and most of all - I’m pain free for the first time in YEARS. I am incredibly thankful to Bob and his staff for not only taking the time to discuss my problems, but ultimately, in helping me get my life back on track. Yes, they’re a very busy clinic, but I never felt as if my concerns didn’t matter. From the actual acupuncture and herbs down to the payment plans, I receive excellent care and would absolutely recommend going in for a visit!  

Been hearing a lot about these guys, so I gave it a shot. And... this was the best acupuncture experience I have ever had! My pain was relieved instantly. I have never experienced that with my previous acupuncture treatments. These guys seem to know what they are doing and it's not about Energy healing either, seems to be quite scientific and stuff! Within only a visit or two the staff greeted me by name, which was a pleasant surprise due to the size of their clinic. I have never come across such a happy medical staff. It is obvious they love what they do and I can say from my experience, they are really good at it. Overall, I highly recommend them if you are looking for good acupuncturists and herbalists in Kitsap county.

Love this place! I have had so much success with robert doane and his amazing staff. They are professional with a fun and relaxing atmosphere. I haven't felt this good in decades. They run a well oiled machine. No waiting around and all the comforts u need. I always come out of there feeling less stressed and less pain..thank you wellness center!

Great place. I've been visiting Bob Doane for three years with fantastic results. I first went in with an achilles tendon problem along with back and neck pains. The tendon was the slowest but I felt more and more relief with each visit. Now, I can even jog again! Using his pulse diagnosis and herbs (with my Dr's OK and follow-up), I have reduced all my medications by 2/3 rds and they are still coming down. Best health move I've ever made.
