I had been needing a new prescription and pair of glasses and stumbled upon Pearle Vision in Silverdale. After verifying that my insurance would cover an eye exam I was seen within 10 minutes. The Optometrist was pleasant, funny, and VERY efficient and was able to complete an entire eye exam in good time. Shortly thereafter, I started looking over the available frames and was assisted by a very courteous young lady who worked with me to discover all of my eye care needs so the pair of glasses would be able to meet all aspects. It was a bit expensive, but after trying to save a few bucks on my last pair of glasses from Costco, I learned that you do get what you pay for. I left the store after being promised that my glasses would arrive by April 19th. On April 19th I was contacted by Jodi from Pearle Vision who let me know that my glasses had not arrived because the lab was backed up due to the popularity of the new HD glasses. I could understand that, though I was and expressed my disappointment. A few days later, Jodi called again to let me know that the lab had sent the glasses, but they were made to my old prescription. My level of understanding and patience was wearing thin, and Jodi picked up on that and promised that she would do what she could to get the correct glasses as soon as possible. About a week later I received another call from Jodi letting me know that my glasses were in and she then apologized profusely and, like the Godfather of Glasses, made me an offer of compensation that I couldn’t refuse. When I tried on my glasses I was simply amazed. They fit so well and the clarity was uncanny; it may have been the first time in my life that I have ever had the right prescription set into some comfortable and handsome frames. I do not want to elaborate on the compensation that Jodi offered, and I took, but it was significant enough for me to recommend Pearle Vision to my wife. My wife’s experience was equally satisfactory with regard to the exam, customer service, availability of frames and features. She received her glasses within a week to my surprise and her satisfaction. The personable customer service, notably Jodi, and quality of the glasses, have made me a loyal customer at this location.

I first went there the summer of 2008 and a guy helped me choose frames and get settled with my new glasses. He was awesome, I went back six months later, he remembered my name and my situation and work that I had had. Six months later I went back, same situation. Unfortunately, the next time I went in, it was a Sunday afternoon, around 3 in the afternoon, in January. I walked in and a lady asked me "What do you want?" I told her I was just there to get new pads and she told me that she was busy and I'd have to wait. No duh, there were three other people in there before me, of course I would have to wait and was happy too. After her tone, I simply stood there a minute then walked out. I went back in to ask her her name and she shouted across the store "Why? Why? You gonna tell on me? You got something to say?" And I read her name tag and walked out as she continued yelling at me. I got offered an apology and a $5 coupon. Eff you, pearle vision. Eff you.
