Im a firefighter, I hurt my back on the Job back in 05' and have had problems ever since. I would go through month long stretches of being incapable of standing up straight and had never been to a chiropractor. Doctors were prescribing everything under the sun with no relief. Went in to Chris's Chiropractic office on a whim and I was walking out standing up straight that day. After that I was a believer in chiropractic medicine, but here is the catch, not all chiropractors are the same. There were times I was in pain and Dr. Kroll was closed or unavailable, so I went to other Chiropractors and left each time without any relief. Dr. Kroll is the real deal, even my father-in-law who has plates in his neck and chronic neck/back problems swears by him not to mention so do several others who I have referred and now go periodically. Its your choice, keep popping the pain/muscle relax'er meds the local dr is prescibing you or go to Chris's office and get better.
