Elite Sports Injury Centres
Reviews
I just recently started going to Elite sports injury in St.Vital. I l got into a car accident about a week ago and my regular physiotherapist is on maternity leave so I decided to try Elite. I love it! My physiotherapists name is Olivia and she is very helpful helping in explaining what’s going on in my neck and why the exercises and treatments she uses will help to strengthen and get me moving again. So Now You have yourself a walking advertisement too! I would refer Elite sports injury to any of my friends and family! Actually I told my mom about it last week and she’s thinking of switching now too.
I was referred to Elite Sports Injury for their Functional Movement Screen. Although not suffering from a particular injury when coming to Elite, I wanted to ensure my body is in its peak physical condition for my job and sport. My physiotherapist Ricky is specifically trained to study basic movement patterns to identify weaknesses and examine mobility and stability in different areas – for me, my shoulders in particular. Ricky is great to work with; he is approachable and professional – and has tailored a great reconditioning program suited specifically to my sport and my needs. Having the ability to work with such a great therapist like Ricky and then being able to work out in a supervised area has been very beneficial to me. In less than 3 months I have already seen improved results in my screenings and I now go to the gym knowing I am performing exercises correctly and am helping improve my functional mobility and strength. I would certainly recommend Ricky and Elite Meadowood to people looking for physiotherapy.
I made an appointment and when went for my appointment, the person at the reception was telling that they double booked. They are unprofessional and all they told me that I have to wait for an hour before they can see. It really reflects their unprofessionalism and mismanagement. If you are late and cancel their appointment after 24 hours, they charge fees and now they didn't even apologize. Never ever go to Meadowwood location. This physiotherapy service providers are no good.
My wife Stacey is a triathlete who fractured her ankle during an adventure race. She went to see Leah at Elite. Leah was awesome - Stacey had no problem getting in to see her, got lots of explanation and we could see the improvement almost immediately. Leah even discovered some hip problems, helped her with those too and now Stacey is back running and competing as good as before. Elite isn't necessarily close to home for us, but Stacey said it was worth the drive every time.
I have been a client of Elite Physio Therapy off and on for just over a year to correct a reoccuring back injury. My therapists [Suzanne(past) and Oliva(present)] have been professional and extremely knowledgable in their field. Each have utilized their techniques to focus on the root of the injury and designed a specific exercise routine to build and stablize the muscles in the core area to prevent the injury from reoccuring. I also, need to give a big shout out to Anna who has assisted me with understanding proper technique when performing my excercises in the gym. I would also like to mention Sharon who is the clients' first and last impression. She is always so postive and happy to be at work. My overall experience has been 10 out of 10 and my quality of life has dramatically improved with my taylored excercise program. Thank you.
