Port Perry Dental Centre

I have been going to this dental office since I was a child and I have no idea why I still go here. The woman who works the front desk with the short blonde hair is so unbearably rude to me every time I come in, and even when I call to schedule appointments. I honestly do not understand how someone like her can have a job when you are so miserable to the general public. The lovely lady downstairs in the billing department however, is very pleasant. The doctors…meh. Over priced for the mediocre job they do.
Towards the end of 2012 I had cracked my top left wisdom tooth in half. I hadn't experienced pain, so I put off going to the dentist out of fear. After a few months of neglect, the pain started. I went to a dentist in Oshawa. I had x-rays taken. My tooth was cracked in half and also infected. The infection was causing the pain. I was told to take my antibiotics and when I was done I was to go back to the dentist to have my tooth pulled. SCARED!!! Anyway, a few months went by and I still hadn't gone back to the dentist. Tuesday morning (Mar 9/13) I was drinking a coffee and the pain shot through my mouth from that tooth. I knew I couldn't put it off any longer. I did a google search for local Port Perry dentist offices and the Port Perry Dental Centre was the first one to pop up. I called the office and the receptionist was very happy to help me. She referred me to Dr. Cottrell and had my appointment booked for 4p.m. that same day! Impressive!!! Arrived for my appointment, the staff was extremely friendly and calming (as I was very nervous). Dr. Cottrell and his staff were the most friendly and patient dental staff I have experienced. He was very easy with me, explained everything, and made sure I was confortable during the wisdom tooth extraction. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cottrell and his staff, and the Port Perry Dental Centre to anyone who has a fear of the dentist. Thank you team! Michael L.
