What can I say? Disgraceful patient care, uninterested dentists, a computer system that seems to be permanently down .....I could go on all day! I have an auto-immune disease which the practice knows about and yet I have been left in severe pain for over 2 months. No xray done. Infact all the 'dentist' has done is repair existing filling because half of it had fell out! No cleaning, no drilling and no getting rid of the temp filling I had put in there whilst I waited in extreme pain for an appointment! The first bodge job lasted about 10 days and the second not even 48 hours. The second caused me huge problems medically when it fell out! On the 3rd visit I asked to see another dentist but when I got there I was told there was a complication and I would be seeing the same useless dentist! This time on my demand she drilled out the remaining filling only to be told it wasn't repairable (!?!?!?!? an Xray could have told her this!!!) so I was measured up for a crown and told to come back in 2 weeks! I was told the temp filling she put in would see me through to then as I was going on holiday the next day!! By the the next morning when the anesthetic had worn off I was again in agony but couldn't do anything as I was going away! By the monday morning I was at an emergency appointment with a strange dentist up in Yorkshire! The first thing they did was and xray!!! The second was to prescribe me a course of intense antibiotics to get rid of the SEVERE infection that my useless Dentist had failed to find!!! I'm now trying to get hold of the practice manager to complain before my appointment tomorrow at 11.30! I've been trying all week and have, as yet, failed to talk to someone for one excuse or another! Yesterdays (when someone eventually answered the phone!) was that their pcs were down call back in an hour so at 2pm I called and was told by an answer machine that they were now closed and to call back in their opening times of 9 to 5pm leave a msg!!! I did and no call back! I called this morning to be put on hold and then told my machine to leave a msg! I have! Not holding my breath for a call back! My Solicitor and the local papers WILL be hearing about this! Disgraceful service to anyone let alone a disabled patient!!!!!
I have been trying to get a veneer replaced since Dec 2012 they took impression then i went back for fitting before christmas ,waited 45mins in surgery only to be told they didnt have it , went back 4th jan waited again then was told they had no cement so waited again , went back for fitting then they told me they couldnt find it so had another impression taken . Today I received a phone call to ask me if I could go yey again for another impression , at this point I told them no I will find another dentist as I thought they were completely useless and have wasted so much of my time and money keep going there only to be told they havnt done what they were supposed to ....
