I moved from my previous dentist to Alyson and Richard's practice a few years ago. I had been dentist-phobic since my teens and a visit to the dentist was always dreaded! So much so that I only ever went to sort out problems. I was therefore surprised to find this a different type of dental practice, one in which you are warmly welcomed, you are told at every stage what is going on, what to expect, and for me with a good deal of care for the nervous and disengaged patient. So today was a huge milestone for me when I walked out of the practice with a complete set of 11 (yes eleven) new crowns for my much ground down front teeth, this involved many hours in Alyson's clinic throughout all the preparation, measurements and fitting and today was the final session. I can at last smile again without holding my hand in front of of my face or be worried about what people think of me. All of this would have been impossible for me to even contemplate with my previous dentists. So a huge thank you to all at Sleep Lane Smiles for making this possible.
