Morrisons
Reviews
Bitterly disappointing. Very difficult to park up, mannerless staff and very small. Which leads me on to my next point; why are they selling non-food items in a branch that is not even big enough for the whole Morrisons food selection? There are enough shops in the shopping center to suffice any other requirement. Morrisons and Waitrose opposite both have the same issue; they are general stores and not food shops, which is rather irresponsible of them because on paper they are very well matched for the area. For a branch that is representative of Morrisons as advertised, you have three options; go to Oxted, which can be exceptionally busy, Purley Way in Croydon or get a 407 to Sutton.
It may be a bit limiting on range as it is not a "full range" store but I have never had an issue with the parking or the manner of the staff. Its a good local store that I have been happy to shop for my family on a weekly basis.
By far, the worst Morrisons store I have ever visited. There is an extremely limited range of products, a small 'Market Street', unhelpful staff and it is a hassle to visit due to the logistics of car parking. It is also a very small store, once compared to Oxted and the opening hours are no where near as effective. It was once threatened with closure, and quite frankly I don't think it would of been missed if it had been consequently closed. All in all, there is no place for Morrisons in Caterham and I am surprised they are still hanging about there. If they really want to keep customers, they might as well attract them to the Oxted store where there is a Cafe and Dry Cleaning services among a better atmosphere and spend the money they do save, on improving that store and using it as their main hub for Tandridge. Sorry Morrisons, but you just will never cut it in Caterham. I'll give it another four years max before its gone.
It is by far the best morrisons in z world! Matt self
