I have been with this dentist 12 months and due to unexpected Back surgery had to cancel 3 appts. Today when i asked for an appt i was informed that i had been taken off their books. I was angry at their lack of comms on informing me of my intentions. As for the dentist, well, in honesty, i found the lady i had to be abrupt and frankly rude. On one occasion she poked a socket i have and i moaned out in pain, she informed me at this point it could not have hurt as it was an old tooth extraction site. I told her it DID hurt. She moved on. It later turned out that I had a bit of the old tooth from a few years before in the old socket which was still giving me sensation etc. I went to my doctor about a foul smell etc and was told to go back to my dentist. Upon discussion of my doctors words with the dentist she said "what am i supposed to to about it?"....she finally did do a xray and found the tooth bit. I was then, 3 months later sent to a local hospital for a small opp. on the socket to remove the bit of tooth. This is just one instance of mal practice and rudeness.....I am warning others, stay clear.....og and if you want any work done they always try and refer you to have it done under the private part of their practice. The reception staff are always rude....went in for an appt and when i asked this, the lady , whilst not looking up at me , simply announced "Name?"....NICE!!!.....avoid this practice if you heed good advice.....thanks for reading....

Not NHS friendly anymore! I have just moved to the Heathfield area and when I popped into the surgery to ask for treatment under the NHS I was very sharply informed that they couldn't help me. When I asked the receptionist if she knew of any other dentist in the area who could treat me under the NHS she very bluntly said " No look on the internet" Not the sort of helpful advice I would have expected when suffering from toothache!

This practice started from scratch a few years ago, dedicated to NHS patients, but also take private patients. The surroundings and staff are warm and friendly. The dentists themselves take a positive "can do" approach. Highly recommended!
