Wilson House Dental Practice
Reviews
I lost half of my tooth last night, rang up this morning and got an appointment straight away. Got there early and was seen early. Rachel and her nurse Verity were excellent. Refilled and rebuilt my tooth very quickly and painlessly. I normal dislike going to the dentist, but on this occasion it was good. Thanks.
Not actually a patient but my friend was. Very disappointed. Found them rather pompous and with a sense of we know best. I remember a few years ago there was a lovely bloke who was kind, gentle and understanding. It seems to have completely changed recently. I read their Care Quality Commission report which said "There were not effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection" Says it all. I thought I would come and see if my review was here and noticed the review left after mine. I thought I recognised the name and it was the dental nurse who used to work at this practice. So I clicked on Sandra Rumble and I was right. So I changed my 2 starts to one
Helpful, friendly, professional and really good with nervous patients. All the staff, receptionists, hygienists, dental nurses and dentists, are always happy to explain anything about treatment or costs and manage to put you at ease. I cannot recommend them too highly.
Smug and not very nice or welcoming!!! The receptionist was very cold and gave me the impression I should be grateful to speak to her. Their charging systems is very complicated and the the receptionist was unable to give me a quote for a check up visit saying it was about £200 an hour. They seemed to have a "Take it or leave it" attitude and I shall not be making an appointment. I only decided to go private because I did not want to take time off work and their hours are very limited. No evening or Saturday appointments.
