Providence Family Dental: Persaud Sewah DDS
Reviews
I went to this Dentist last February to have my teeth check up. He suggested one of my lower left tooth, #19 needs to have a crown on. I went to another Dentist to get second opinion about this tooth. After reviewing an X-ray of the tooth, it revealed the tooth might have a problem and might need to looking into further before putting a crown on. So I went back to Providence Family Dental and told Mr. Persaud (who worked on my tooth) about my concern and asked him to make sure the tooth is o.k to put on the crown. He replied "beside it fractured on the top but it should be fined to have a crown on". So I trusted his judgement and told him to go ahead and proceed with the crown. A week later after he put a crown on my tooth, it came off while I was chrewing my food. I went back to Mr. Persuad to have it put back on. While he was working on my tooth with his tool hit the tooth and I was hurt. I raised my hand up to let him know that I was hurting. Instead of saying sorry or something to comfort his patient, he said "I didn't do anything why are you hurting". A few months later after he re-placed a crown on a second time, my tooth started to wiggle and hurt. I went to other dentist to have X-ray again and it showed the tooth is infected. So my husband and I went back to Mr. Persaud again to see what he can do to fix this. Instead of doing something helpful, he grinded down the top of the tooth which doesn't do any good. He started to get upset and blaming on us for not going to see other specialist on this tooth. Instead of listen to us and hear what said, he said to us "no but.." and told us "you listen to me!" My husband got upset at his unproffessional behavior and the way he treated us. So my husband told him no "you should listen to me" at this time he stood up with his tool in his hand and yelled at my husband "Get out! Get out! Get out!". We felt Mr. Persaud not only incompetence and reckless put a crown on my infected tooth, but he also rude and unproffesionally treat his patient.
