Dental Health & Beauty: Jennings John A DDS
Reviews
Ozark is a small town and let's be honest, most of it is run down. Coming from Portland, Oregon I was nervous to go the dentist here. However, my experience with Dr. Jennings office was nothing but pleasant. It was very easy to schedule for the time of day that I needed. I was able to get in within two weeks of the time I made the call to get scheduled. His office also called to remind me of my appt. I was also really nervous about this appt because my three year old needed to see the dentist for the first time as well. My son saw Faith. She was amazing with him. She took the time to make him comfortable before she started and she showed him all of the equipment she would be using. During his appt, his dad stayed with him while I wondered down the hall for my appt. I could hear my son and Faith jibber jabbering the whole time! It put my mind at ease knowing that he was comfortable around her. I saw Michelle. She was great. She listened to my concerns. Then, after Dr. Jennings came in to see me, she took the time to break down what he said. She even broke down my insurance for me and helped me find days to get scheduled for the two crowns and one filling that I will need. She explained my insurance very well. She really took the time to care. I made a follow up appt with them for my much needed work and I requested to be seen by Michelle again. I recommend seeing Faith if you have small children! It was a pleasant first experience and I have no doubt when I go back for further work that I will feel the same.
My husband used this dentist in '13 for the extraction of a wisdom tooth; after the procedure we paid our insurance co-pay and they billed our insurance. A month later I received a notice that we had been turned over to a collection agency for $8.00; I was shocked because I thought the amount was paid in full, but I promptly paid the $8.00. Today 10/15/14, I attempted to make an appointment to have a cracked tooth fixed. They found my husband's record and said it was "flagged" for being turned over to collection. I said "It was $8.00 and I paid it as soon as I found out." Their response was "That does not matter it is company policy that once flagged we can no longer see the patient or any of their family members regardless of the reason." Really...? I find this to be asinine, and pretentious; a clerical error on their part is making me have to find a new dentist.
