Radiologists are fine as they know their business however, if you have problems with billing and speak to someone about it.....get a name!! I spoke with a gentleman regarding filing of a mamo I had to have further review of, my insurance paid on the 2nd mamo but denied the 1st as wellness. That's all good except I wouldn't need the 2nd mamo if the 1st had been normal therefore, there should have been a diagnosis filed with the first mamo instead of routine. When I spoke with the gentleman and explained this to him, he agreed and was going to get this claim refiled. The next thing I know, I'm getting a bill demanding payment or their turning me over to collections. I'm thinking "what the heck" this guy assured me I need not send a payment until it has been refiled and paid on by the insurance. Long story short, don't expect much from their billing department.
