LOVE it here! The entire staff is awesome & most importantly I feel totally confident with my care here. I had a pretty rough experience somewhere else & this office is having to redo some of what my least dentist messed up on & I'm,super thankful I found this place!

Wow! So impressed by this dental office. I had a pretty bad experience with a new dentist's office in the past, so I was nervous to start at a new place. But the office was clean, had very high-tech equipment, and my hygienist (Kristina) was amazing! The dentist was honest and nice, too, but I'd go back there just because of Kristina!

I love Dr. Elza and his staff -- they are just awesome and treat me with amazing respect and cheerfulness. I have never enjoyed a root canal and crown until I visited Gateway Smiles. Is that crazy? I just had fun throughout the process, and can't wait to get more teeth repaired. I feel like I have a team and advocates on my side now, and my dental health future is very bright.

Being an avid biker, I'm programmed not to show fear. However Dentists, and any doctors for that matter, scare the life outta me! Enough that I never went to see one unless absolutely necessary. As in my case here... At 49 years old I only have a few molars left to chew with. My lower left had a cavity for some time. I dealt with it until it began chipping away and pain set in. I was scheduled to leave Arizona to go to my nephew's graduation and didn't want to take the pain with me. Dr. Oates took me in two days before my trip. He decided I needed a root canal done... two in fact. My fears set in. He referred me to a specialist for the next day. They also set me at ease and did a wonderful job. Giving me a temporary cap to last through my trip... and then some. I was amazed to learn all the horror stories I've heard about root canals were completely off base! I then returned to Dr. Oates for a Cad Cam (cap) procedure. He greeted me as an old friend and again made me feel at ease. After a little over an hour in the chair, I have what look like two new molars and can eat again without worry or pain! What started out as an emergency visit has now become a dental relationship I can say I'm happy to look forward to. I will be returning next week for a long over due cleaning. Thank you Dr. Oates, your assistant, and the whole staff at Gateway Smiles!

Gateway smiles is the best. I have never had a problem with any of the Gateway Staff. Very friendly and always willing to make your time there comfortable.
