Walmart Supercenter

Terrific people, just like the Old Walmart's used to be.
This rating applies to the instore pharmacy. The rest of the store is quite nice, and we would recommend it. The pharmacy, however, is something else. We were in town for a short while and asked them to transfer a prescription from another city in AZ. The pharmacist said he would have it for us the next day. It wasn't ready the next day, so we came back the 2nd day - still not ready. We complain, he has no response but a shrug. He says he'll have it ready in 15 minutes - an hour and a half later it's finally ready. This is service? Shop the Walmart store - but take your prescriptions some place else!
The pharmacy is the slowest in the nation.
This is a very nice Walmart, but is not open 24hrs. I believe their pharmacy is open until 9pm and their store until 10pm. The store is very nice, well laid-out, clean, very good prices, but lacks in the meat department as it's very small, deli and pastries and cakes, nothing really to speak about. Also, it would be very nice if this Walmart could put outside along the walls a few more benches. They have like one bench that can fit 2 people and a mile-long wall of empty space. When the summer temps arrive, there is really nowhere to sit down and relax. No refreshment area either. It's like they designed this store to get you in and leave. Lastly, it would be wonderful if their check-out cashiers took more initiative and when every cashier is busy, and you really cannot tell who is open or not, to have those cashiers free to call out to customers waiting in line. Even come over and grab us as there can be so many people you don't know what's going on during checkout. Overall, this is a great store for our community. I just wish they had a meat and bakery department like that at Safeway, right across the street.
Thank you so much for bringing this fine store to our area. Though we drive a long way (60 miles) one way to get there, I have always found the employes and management to be very polite and extremly helpful. Sure we can find more of a selection if we drive an aditional 40 miles to Lake Havasu, but why do that? A few of the employes that have been extremly helpful to me are Netera LeMaster and Jack Wilson. An employe that is always at the front of the store whose name is Alan (Allen or Alen not really sure, and I don't know his last name, but he is a BIG guy) has always gone wayyyyyy out of his way to help me in any way he can, please see that these people receive some sort of a comendation for their kindness. The meat seems to be higher priced than Safeway or Albertsons, but hey, you can't always have your cake and eat it to. I have spent well over $5,000.00 dollars there in the last three (3) months, and will continue to shop there.
