The meat department was out if several basic items. One item we need to return because we realized it is out of date. Deli dept was not well informed about products. Service overall was not great.

I love this grocery store. Great service, setting and selection of items. I was disappointed however with the Western Union Money Transfer. The customer service desk merely handed me the form to decipher and fill out. Once I thought I might be done, they had somewhat forgotten about me and began helping the other 3 people who showed up after me. I waited for the second of the three people to get served and mentioned that I was stuck with my form. The help gave me a sort of dirty look, implying that I was being rude for not letting her help the last person who got there after me. I was disappointed that they did not walk me through the Western Union paperwork, they didn't check on me and they gave me attitude for asking for help. I paid a 23% fee on my transfer and Safeway/WU made a good amount of money off of me. I definitely felt like my service was NOT appreciated. I am glad I can engage in this sort of transaction at many other locations. I will find other locations in the future. I was definitely disappointed that the customer service desk didn't help me make a tedious and costly process more of a seamless transaction.

This is the location where the attempted assassination of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords occurred. Otherwise, I thought it was clean and the cashiers friendly.

The food is to die for!
