I often fill my prescriptions at this Walgreens and the man who manages the pharmacy always goes out of his way to give me the best prices and the quickest turn around. Many times I've waited till the last minute to fill a large and / or unusual prescription and I've expected to basically be screwed, but not with this Walgreens pharmacy guy. I really get the feeling he enjoys his job and helping other people.

As a new college student I had never filled prescriptions on my own before, let alone transferred accounts, and today I felt rushed and embarrassed and pretty much not helped, by both the pharmacy and the Walgreens staff. I think usually it may be good, but this experience left me feeling humiliated and irritable.

Nothing too exciting to say about Walgreens. It's Walgreen. That said, they do have cheap(ish) milk and eggs, and are handy when you need something basic but can't find it at Berkeley Bowl.
