Chronically understaffed. There are frequently lines that extend down the isles. What is happening with their management???

i shop at this vons often. the bakery is always stocked with fresh baked breads etc. the prices are ok i always save with my club card. one thing i like about it is its not overcrowded and the staff is always helpful and ask if i need any help finding anything. the only downside is that there is a panda express inside the vons and it always smells like Chinese food that's the reason behind the 4 stars otherwise i love going there.

Not enough checkouts are open in the evenings.. really long lines sometimes because not enough checkouts.. they too cheap too hire more people? I end up buying a lot of stuff from other places because that line is sometimes just insane. Maybe add some self checkouts.. this is a big grocery store not a mini mart.

Even worse, overpriced, never any cash registers open and understaffed, albertsons is much better

When it comes to customer service this store lacks leadership. Fortunately it is a grocery store so most get what they need and get out. The mgr is so concerned with telling the staff what needs to be done that they stand in the middle of the isle talking and completely ignore the customer trying to pass by. Not even move over to let me by, i didn't realize that their meeting came before a customer needing to pass. Just a little insight to who is important at this Vons.
