Felton Community Acupuncture
Reviews
Jordan is a blessing. My wrists were injured in a slip and fall and I treated at the Five Branches University clinic for over a year with a senior acupuncturist. When the clinic raised their rates, I started looking for Five Branches graduates and found Jordan, just a few miles from my house. I can only say, I wish Five Branches had raised their prices much earlier because I not only cut my treatment costs by nearly half, the results I'm getting now are twice as good. Here is why. This is a community acupuncture clinic which means you in a large treatment room with other patients, as opposed to private rooms in a clinic. Frankly, I find being with other patients adds a delightful sense of comradery to the treatment. I go at the same time each as a 92 year old man who treats with Jordan and we really enjoyed seeing each other and joking a bit. But the real advantage of community style is treatment time. With Five Branches you got 1 hour in the room. Between meet and greet, needles in and needles out, you get at most, 30 minutes of actual therapy time. With Jordan, I can sit there as long as it is available, or until I need to go to the bathroom. In any case, my actual, needles in therapy time with Jordan is always over an hour. How does this help me. With Five Branches, the relief from a treatment lasted 3 days before diminishing. With Jordan, I go 5 to 6 days before diminishing. In times when access to Western medicine is growing beyond reach, I've found my weekly treatments with Jordan to be a great tune-up for an old body.
