I've worn hearing aids for the past 25 years and my original local Audiologist retired so I went looking for a new doctor. This doctor seems honest and nice, but it should be noted that I went in for a simple cleaning and was charged a 30 dollar co-pay, which is excessive in my experience. For the 30 dollars, the doctor proceeded to simply blow into my hearing aid and use a q-tip to wipe it down. I could do that myself. I was expecting special tools, cleaners and fluids to clean a 3000 dollar device.
