Decent local market. Bakery folks DO speak English, but forget about pre-ordering doughnuts, bagels, or a cake for large groups. After several tries to pre-order with the Bakery supervisor and calling to confirm the order 2X before pick-up, they invariably screw up the order or delay it by 20 minutes. The meat butchers are efficient and courteous, though I'd still buy my seafood at Malibu Seafood. The produce guys are okay, and the organic and regular produce has improved, and is far superior to Ralph's produce in flavor. The dairy fellows are excellent and very helpful. Some of the cashiers are friendly, all are courteous, and the manager is the tops. I still miss HOWS, and I'll shop here more than not. Wish we had a Whole Foods here.

Tried to order a cake. Nobody spoke English. Nobody took ownership. I'ts Malibu...your help needs to speak English.

Great store, great service, decent inventory. Feels a little like "old malibu" before "New malibu" moved in.
