First off this store's prices are off the charts. Reason enough not to shop here. Another reason I wouldn't shop here is a clerk named Shelagh. She looks about ready to retire and hates her job. She makes people bag their own groceries, instead of just handling things once and dropping them into a bag. She is slower than slow, it's like she is begging to be fired. Don't know why she has a job at all. I guess the union saves her.

Great but they charge an additional 1.5% tax as a "tourist tax"

For those of us who like to visit Mammoth Lakes, this is a great place to stock up on food to cook back at the resort, or any necessaries left at home. They have all the basics that any grocery store should have, and it's pretty well organized with plenty of parking.
