Oroville Hospital

Poorest excuse for an ER I have ever been to. As a former military wife I have been all over the US so when I say this I mean it sincerely. If you'd like to wait 10 hours while you're in severe pain go here. Otherwise Chico, Paradise, or Yuba City are much better options. Suggestions for Oroville ER, when people come in and do not need urgent care tell them to go to a clinic. Add some parking close by. Get more beds, more doctors. And do not take obvious tweakers faking to get drugs in before patients waiting politely for hours.
Horrible! We waited in an er room for three hours before my feverish 1 month old was even acknowledged. No one in the er is skilled enough to do anything once. Once we get admitted we go to a shared room (with a sick infant) at 8pm and we are finally fully admitted at 1030pm. The very incompetent nurse Katie can't figure out how to work the equipment correctly and they kept waking up my fussy sick baby. Meanwhile, at midnight, the door is left open and staff congregate just out the door and talk about patients. I don't need to know that the person in 120 is a heavy smoker (hippa violation, and so is the previous patient paperwork that was left in my room.) I had to take my already sick baby through a ward with crazy and contagious people. If you can and you care about your health, go somewhere else. I will be discharging my son in the morning and taking him to enloe. This is a dirty, nasty place without any talent or even skill. This is where the health care professional goes when they get fired from somewhere good! Please please please don't make the same mistake I did.
Every good i like it alot
This hospital does not know how to run the billing/collecting side of their company. They sent a bill to collections after I tried calling multiple times to pay. They never called me back!... They need to learn how to run a company or fire their accounts manager!
If you can go some where else
