We thought the doctor was going to be great. However, once he started in about how great he is because he takes welfare patients, I found him to be condescending and demeaning. He said we didn't follow his instructions because one of the stitches on my son's finger had fallen out and I took the other two out as they were bothering him and digging into his skin. They had been in his finger for 2 days shy of three weeks so of course I took them out. Doesn't mean I don't follow instructions. We iced the hand, etc. and took good care of it.He went on vacation. I have to use med-i-cal as I haven't found a job and have no insurance. It doesn't mean I am a pot smoking, baby making, lower class citizen. I am a human being that deserves respect and kindness and so are my children. Having med-i-cal shouldn't mean you have to be seen at a different office from everyone else or that you don't deserve to be treated like everyone else. We will be going somewhere else from now on.
