I found Dr. Pulsipher a few years ago. I had my braces done somewhere else and my teeth moved with the retainers they gave me. I wanted to prevent my teeth from further movement and thankfully found Dr. Pulsipher closer to home. Dr. Pulspiher recommended me a more fitting retainer with springs on them and made my teeth straight again. He also put in a bite plate on the top to help with my jaw and my jaw pains disappeared, what a miracle! He made it seem so easy. I love the retainers 'til this day. Recently, I visited Dr. Pulsipher again due to some traumatic teeth clenching from an auto accident. Now I have a mouth-guard-like-teeth-positioner that helps me protect me from stress-clenching from post-accident trauma, but also positions my teeth. Because of its bulky nature, I had a lot of trouble adjusting to it. I am VERY thankful how patient Dr. Pulsipher and his whole staff has been to help me through the transition. I went in a number of times with questions and requests to have them fit better and Dr. Pulsipher was always pleasant, knowledgable, professional and kind. I can't express how thankful I am to have a Orthodondist who can help me understand what's going on and he makes you feel at ease and that's just an extra gift Dr. Pulsipher & his staff has that makes them stand out. We LOVE Dr. Pulsipher and his staff. They are very friendly. Plus, the office is quiet and not a "production" like some other orthodontist offices we interviewed. We have four kids and all have had their treatments (or are undergoing treatments) with Dr. Pulsipher. I would highly recommend Dr. Pulsipher for Orthodontic treatment.

I had an over bite situation and consulted with 3 different Orthodontics doctors. Some of the doctors recommended jaw surgery, extraction and Invisalign to correct the bite. I was not pleased with any of the options. These doctors told me that if I did not follow their procedures, I would lose my teeth. Finally I found Dr. Pulsipher Orthodontics in Mira Mesa. Dr. Pulsipher told me that it did not require any of the harsh procedures, but could be fixed by extracting 2 teeth and wearing braces, which would take 18 to 24 months. He took X-rays of my teeth and started the work in December 2011. It has been 18 months and my teeth have moved perfectly. I am really happy that I didn’t go for surgery which would of cost a lot money and much pain. I must mention their service over the last 18 month period. Dr. Pulsipher took the time to look at even the smallest details and then explained what to do next. The staff is very friendly and supportive. I just completed treatment with Dr. Pulsipher. He is awesome!
