11/23/14 I came in here for ice cream with a friend who lives across the street. The store wasn't very busy; it was a Sunday afternoon. My friend and I walked up to the ice cream counter and we were assisted really soon after, but it wasn't super friendly assistance. Maybe she was just having a bad day - everyone does - but my Rite Aid ice cream counter at my home store (Pleasant Hill, ca) has very friendly employees who get excited at my ice cream excitement. The ice cream was amazing - as expected. I even tried a new flavor: Black Cherry, and my favorite: Mint Chip. Sorry Cookies N Cream - I cheated on you today. Scoops of ice cream for less than $2 each is still the best price anywhere - and their ice cream is consistent and awesome.
