The office staff is generally pleasant. However... I visited this dentist's office in the fall for a crown, the need for which they identified at a prior checkup/cleaning. The man who worked on me apparently was new and had come from working (for free) on homeless people. It became apparent to me that such experience had led to inconsiderate practice. It took three attempts for the dentist to wrap my gums with cord, each attempt fairly uncomfortable. It took three attempts to properly take a "cast" of the tooth (using the goop that takes several minutes to harden); one such attempt involved far too much goop, causing me to gag badly. When they attempted put the new crown on, it didn't fit, and I had to return weeks later. Having a temporary on for 3 weeks is bad enough; having it on six weeks is unacceptable. I've had two crowns prior to this one, and they were cakewalk compared to this unpleasant experience. My wife had an equally unpleasant experience. She had to visit the office a total of four times for a single crown--the permanent crown did not fit *twice*, and so she ended up with a temporary crown in her mouth for several months--outrageous. Blaming the problem on the lab that makes the tooth is just poor customer service. I'm sure that things go wrong, and dentistry is a bit of a delicate art, but I had no negative experiences with a number of dentist visits over the past several years (in Texas).
