Comfort Dental - Ft. Collins

This office has potential to be a good office. However, the front office staff are inconsiderate to any person that walks-in. They treat you more like a nuisance, rather than a customer. No proper social etiquette. The assistants are pleasant. Still, I would recommend giving another office a "go" before settling with this one.
My 18 year old daughter was seen for a cleaning in December 2014. She was told that she had 2 cavities, which was strange because she had never had a cavity before in her life. One month later she went to an appointment to fill the 2 cavities and she was then told by the dentist that she had 8 cavities that needed to be filled. 2 cavities to 8 in one month!!! 6 cavities do not just show up in one month! Thankfully my daughter had the guts to get up and walk away. She had a second opinion with her previous dentist and what do you know, she had NO cavities! Unethical dentist! The receptionist was also a total bitch to my college age daughter and son because we have 2 insurances for dental. That means more paperwork for her and she was not happy about it. That is her job. Never again will we ever trust COMFORT DENTAL.
Although the people were nice, I found the dentist rude. I understand I was squeezed in due to an emergency issue, but the doctor made my visit feel rushed. I decided to get a second opinion with my normal dentist, and when trying to get my records, they were told it would be a 25 dollar fee. That is fine, but my dentist suggested I get the tooth number. When I called, they more than willingly gave me the tooth number, which was the wrong tooth. I was looking at the dental chart on teeth numbers when talking to them, and it did not sound right. I questioned it, and the representative said that is all they had on file. Which leads me to believe that they are incompetent. If I had not questioned this, I would have had a root canal done on the WRONG TOOTH. This was gross negligence on their part. I was trying to give them a second chance, despite me experience with them 5 years ago. I was proven once again that they are not in the habit of practicing good dentistry.
all the reviews below are old this is resent 2014 ..the place isnt too bad the staff are nice the dentest is good at what he does i hate needles in mouth but it wasnt bad i giv it 4 star cause dental is allways pricy but they hav a gold plan which makes price 45-75% cheaper
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE! In our experience here the Dr. was running 30 min behind and was rude to my 6 year old when she was in. The Dr. said that she was 30 min behind and did not have time for my daughter who was needing a filling. The Dr. said that my 6yr old was too "anxious" and refused service for her. This doctor was impatient and did not take the time to make a child feel welcome and comfortable about being there. When my daughter talks about this place she says " That is the place where the Doctor didn't want to help me." It is sad when a child feels that she is not welcome where Dr.'s are suppose to be a good influence on your children to help create good habits. I will tell everyone I know that this Comfort Dental does not care for children the way they are suppose to be. As a mother I do not recommend this place to anyone!!
