St. Anthony Hospital

I can only describe our visits here as an educator bringing my students here on field trips. The Flight for Life crew are wonderful and very informative and are great with the kids. I am glad to partner with them each year knowing they care deeply about our youth. Thanks, Flight for Life! Math Pioneers Ignite and Shades of Blue love you!
This hospital is a disgrace. The last time I went in ( for a problem I have had for years, mind you) they asked me if I was suffering from withdraw (ie, I'm a junkie detoxing). Then they proceeded to leave me in a bed, half naked, no gown, no blanket. Put a bag of saline and some basic medication in me. The only time the "Dr" came by was to scream at me that I was forcing myself to vomit and threaten to put me in restraints. After a few hours, they discharged me (still with symptoms, mind you) I spent the night writhing in pain and went to Swedish the following day to get real help. The dehumanizing, degrading, incompetent treatment at this hospital is reprehensible. If you come here THEY WILL NOT TREAT YOU LIKE A HUMAN BEING! There is no hospital in the state more with lower standards of care or quality of treatment than St. Anthony's hospital.
I am at St. Anthony's right now. I have spent a lot of time in and around hospitals, doctors, etc. This is the nicest facility, with the most helpful and courteous staff I have ever seen. The quality of care is second to none. For your family, the restaurant and waiting areas are hotel quality. The rooms have couches and recliners. I don't recommend anyone going to the hospital, but if you have to go, this is the place.
My mother recently fell and broke her hip and requested to be brought to St. Anthony's because of the excellent care they provided to a relative in the past and they did not disappoint. We were all in awe of the kind loving care our mother received from the Paramedics who picked her up to the Anesthesiologist who took the time to answer our questions and the Surgeon Dr. Rowland as well. The entire nursing staff on the 5th floor rate a AAA+++. We are grateful.
I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this hospital!!!!! My boyfriend fell and broke two ribs and broke his back in two places. The staff in this hospital was pushing him off tables and being extremly rough on him to the point that i was in tears!!!! They refused to give him pain medications because he had had 2 1/2 beers four hours earlier!!! I had to just bring him home to stop the abuse!!! DON"T GO TO ST.ANTHONYS!!!!!!
