Rocky Mountain Urgent Care
Reviews
Very disappointed. Used to know and love all the staff and physicians there. Now, no one knows what they are doing. Prices have gone up, training is severely lacking, staff is rude, ignorant to their own policies and providing sub par patient care. This facility has declined do much that I wouldn't recommend anyone seek care there.
After fighting a sea of slow, incompetent or unresponsive medical centers, finally we've found care for our one year old child with a friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, caring clinic. Truly a godsend!
we got there a few minutes before it closed. doors were already locked and they wouldn't let us in despite that the guy I was carrying was visibly shaking and couldn't breathe. Absolutely the most negligent medical care. Avoid at all cost.
If I could give negative stars I would. This place is terrible. It takes three days to get a prescription refilled. You have to call your pharmacy 2 times and call the assistant at Rocky Mountain 2 times before the assistant calls you back. They tell you that they did not get a refill request and will call the pharmacy to clear things up. NOTHING happens and they do not call the pharmacy. Talk about below par care.
Ok, changing my review! They saw my kid a week ago and even though she had symptoms consistent with pertussis (whooping cough, which looks a little different in older kids and adults so we had no clue), they DID NOT screen her! They diagnosed bronchitis and sent her home with codeine. Well, they blew it. I had enough sense to take her to Children's Hospital this week and it is pertussis. Rocky Mountain Urgent Care failed to screen her (even though there is an outbreak of pertussis right now, duh), and my kid spread this to who knows who! Now my kid has full blown pertussis and her whole school has been exposed. Erg. Don't go. If you have a kid, go to the Children's urgent care by Lutheran Hospital. They are actually competent and worth the extra drive time.
