Been seeing Dr. Stock and his staff for many years as a result of a referral from a friend. Even after I moved to Sarasota, I've continued under his care. The operative word is "care" in this practice. From the billing folks to scheduling my experience is all positive. Can't really say I *enjoy* going, but I know they are fair and willing to answer and explain EVERYTHING and work with me to have the best oral care I can have. No reservations here - should be 5 stars

I brought my son in to have a tooth pulled, and Dr Stock and his staff were kind, gentle and efficient. My son did not feel a thing!! Great job, thank you Palms Dental!!

I went to Palms several years ago for a few years, and I really regret it. Dr. Stock was new and came recommended by a co-worker. I liked the staff, at first, but they changed and was very unhappy with the replacements. When I first went to Palms. Dr. Stock was new and did a couple of fillings for me. One of them hurt afterwards, really bad. I was told it was normal because there was trauma to the tooth from the filling. Long story short, I went back to Stock for over 3 years, continually complaining about the pain and not getting help. Only told, we'll check it again at the 6 month visit. I was in a lot of pain and it kept getting worse, but nothing was done about it. That's why I stopped going there. They also can't get the billing right for insurance and overcharge, and then mail you a check for the different in 6 months or so. I had an appointed changed without prior approval. Instead of letting me know on my 6 month check up that they had to reschedule because they were closed on the date I'd originally scheduled, they left a message on my cell confirming the wrong day of the appointment the day before the wrong appointment. They are very frequently closed on Fridays, but because of my work that was the only day I could come in. So, I made sure after my 6 month cleaning to get an open Friday for the next 6 month cleaning. I would have been fine w/ changing to another Friday, but they should have asked about it instead trying to pretend I'd made the mistake when I clearly remembered it taking about 20 minutes for them to find an open Friday because of the annoyance. Mistakes happen and he was new, but not helping me when I was really suffering is not okay. I know two other co-workers who went there and were very upset with they way they conduct their business. He didn't want to explain anything was one co-workers complaint. The other had serious problems with the billing and rude staff. I think the 5 start rating sounds like an advertisement from a friend or worker. Not what I'd heard from several of my co-workers and not my experience.

It had been a quite some time since I had been to a dentist and Dr. Stock was recommended by a friend. I was a little anxious but Dr. Stock and his staff were so nice and so professional. I felt really comfortable with everyone there and was treated very well. No one ever made me feel self conscious about anything. His staff was able to set up a dental plan and work with me and now I am on my way to a healthier smile! I plan on bringing my family here. thank you everyone at Palms Dental!

Dr. Christopher R. Stock, DDS and his staff provided excellent dental care, including teeth cleaning, x-rays and bi-annual check up. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable and welcome.
