Your Sunday, November 9 ad is EXTREMELY MISLEADING. Photo of turkey with a rollback price of 75 cents sign on the turkey - Butterball frozen whole turkey. I went to our local Homosassa store on Nov. 10, with the ad and the butterball turkeys are priced at 98 cents. I asked a young man from the meat department about the ad and he said several others had inquired also and that the price scanned is 98 cents. He indicated he had asked the meat manager about it and was told it must be for a different Wal Mart store. I went to customer service and spoke to the manager on duty and she looked at the ad and checked the dates, etc. Finally, she figured out that the ad was not for the turkey that it is for the small box of stuffing - she said it was a really tricky ad. I told her I would be contacting the customer service department about this. Wal Mart does not usually do ads like this, it was terribly disappointing. There were two gentlemen waiting for word, I went back and told them. My wife shops there a couple of times a week.
same bad walmart just 3 miles south. dont go late at night unless you have PLENTY of time to stand in the ONE open checkout.
My wife was legitimately injured at a Walmart... Not to bore you, I will explain how at the "end" of this complaint.. But here is something you MUST know...Especially if you are "disabled or the elderly"... But this does include EVERYONE who shops at ANY Walmart. Walmart does not handle insurance claims, a 3rd party, Claims Management Corp does. After my wife's injury, which wasn't life threatening, but caused pain to continue as she should work with her own employment, we let Walmart's Ins Company "Claims Management Corp" know we aren't going to bring them to court, we just expect them to pay the hospital bill...a mere 125.00 to 150.00 dollars. I received a call today from "Lori" an adjuster at Claims Management Corp, that they weren't going to even pay her medical bill. After I was getting nowhere with this woman who seemed to, in her voice, show self righteousness sarcasm (as if she did not care), I called back their company and spoke to "Chris" who told me, and I will quote him now and challenge him to prove me wrong (for calls they say are recorded)... Chris said: "ANY customer who shops at Walmart and decides to remove any item from their shelves, is responsible for their own safety, if they sustain injury". He said "It's your own risk". I challenge Claims Management Corp to bring suit against me for slander, will you say it "wasn't recorded" or decide it's better not to "play the tape". WARNING TO ALL ELDERLY AND DISABLED: DO NOT SHOP AT WALMART IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO FIND YOURSELF IN DEBT WITH YOUR LOCAL PHYSICIAN OR HOSPITAL." ... OR do as their insurance company implied, do not take anything off of their shelves, not even a candy bar, asl for assistance, because you really will be treated like "crap" even over a 150.00 medical bill. She was removing those plastic pools they keep outside (for our ducks, we already own several), but as you know, these things are sometimes "suction stuck" together, or in bundles in a rack, and she was injured during this, her ankle swelled like a grapefruit and all we did is go to doctor to see if it was broken. IF you are ever in a bad mood, and want to be a jerk, or, are concerned for your safety, when at Walmart, ask for a manager to help you even if its to take milk off a shelf, then tell the manager why, and feel free to use my name and Homosassa, FL was the city. _mike PS: I wouldnt be so mad if they werent such jerks about it, they want your money and dont give a crap about you (I used to be a big walmart fan, close to a thousand a month spent there, no more).
Best shopping experience ever! Go walmart!
This Wal Mart is like a SMALL MART.... they don't have a lot of items to choose from
