What a pleasant surprise to find this business! Our employer changed our insurance to a high deductible plan and since we have not met the deductible, we pay everything out of pocket. What a great way to learn how much drugs really cost retail. I recently was prescribed a drug that (OMG) was $300 at our local pharmacy. I shopped around locally and all the prices were within a few dollars. My doctor recommended trying QSP. The customer service representative was not only pleasant but knowledgeable and helpful. She reviewed some options for me and even located a manufacturer coupon. In the end we saved about $70 on this one prescription. We then price-checked a prescription that my husband has filled monthly and found that it was less that half the cost we had been paying. For exactly the same thing.
