My experience was HORRIBLE!!! I took my son here b/c he cut his foot open on the beach. ER was 6 hr wait, they recommended we go over here. Dr. McCann (owner and retired dr) treated him. Dr. McCann came in & started looking at my son's foot w/out washing his hands or w/out putting on gloves!! Dr proceeded to clean out my son's foot & give him 2 shots to numb his foot, dr proceeded cut some skin & then to stitch his foot (drs hands shaking quite a bit mind you!) & it was not even numb yet & he didn't care that my son was about to go through the wall in pain!!! Just continued with the poking, stitching and tying up of the stitches. Said it was fine, he'd be fine, this is worst of it, almost done. Mind you my son has a high tolerance for pain too! (He has had surgery to bottom of foot & it's ALWAYS BEEN NUMB B4 PROCEEDING W/CUTTING/STITCHING!!!) 2 stitches, no info for follow up care or post "surgery" care/wound care, no rx, he just left the building, my son's foot started to swell up - b/c they didn't elevate it at all!! Another dr - Dr. Gashti came in, looked at the swelling & left the room. Did nothing, no follow up check on him b4 we left or anything! Neither dr had any decency of BEDSIDE MANNER!! I asked about an antibiotic & was questioned as to why I wanted one - seriously - they are the professionals!!! He cut his foot on the BEACH! Hi - maybe a chance of infection! Hopefully my son will be ok, not get an infection or any other issues - I put an email in to Dr. McCann to please call me. Next time - maybe just go to ER and wait the 6 hours! If my son is not ok, this clinic will hear from me as well as the FL Dept of Health! Shame on you! So beyond upset and disappointed! I should have just left and not let them treat him at all.
