Publix® Pharmacy at Freedom Square
Reviews

I walked in with three prescriptions because the online discount from GoodRx was the same that Wal-Mart offered and Publix is closer to home, also it is where we do our food shopping 3-4 times a week, although my previous prescriptions were from Wal-Mart. My wife and I approached the counter, explained why we were there, presented and asked if they honored the coupons not stating where they were from. The response from the counter person AND the person behind filling prescriptions was emphatically "NO" without even looking at the prescriptions or the coupons. I asked if they would at least honor the pricing, again without the courtesy of even looking at the prescriptions or the coupons their answer was again emphatically "NO".......... No problem, with customer service as we had just experienced it was back to Wal-Mart we went to spend our $80.00 per month on medication. As a person without Medical insurance I fully understand my prescriptions the last several years with insurance, the three scripts only costing $26.00 I expect to pay more, even the near 300% increase with the discount plan from GoodRx is palatable, but hey Publix, at least take the time to look at what I have and see what you can do for me. That's how I ended up at Wal-Mart after losing my insurance, they were very helpful, steered me to several websites for the discounts while CVS did nothing but say "sorry, can't help you", same thing Publix Pharmacy just did.
