Dr. Myers is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. I need to have a very difficult cosmetic procedure done which involves matching the color of one front tooth to the rest of my teeth. I have been to nearly every cosmetic dentist along the Emerald Coast, searching for one I felt comfortable with and whom I felt would be able to do a great job because I am a biiiig perfectionist. I was getting very discouraged because I had been to about 5 consultations (and called several others) with dentists located everywhere from Pensacola to Destin and all I had found were dentists who weren't confident in their abilities OR dentists who were money-hungry and were very pushy for me to get the procedure done immediately. I was just about to give up hope but when I found Dr. Myer's website, I got a good feeling because he had an in-office lab (always a good sign) and everyone on the staff had been there for years. When I went in for the consultation I was expecting a standard 15-minute, detached meeting but instead he spent over 2 hours with me, answering all my questions and being very honest with me about what was realistic and what was not. While other dentists pushed the Zoom whitening treatment on me, he told me that the trays would be better and would save me money in the long run. While other dentists insisted I needed Invisalign on my bottom teeth, he didn't mention them and just focused on the cosmetic issue I went into the office for. Everyone in the office from his hygienists to his lab technician were intelligent, informed, and best of all - excited about their work! I live in Fort Walton and have to drive 1.5 hours to get to Dr. Myer's office, but I don't even mind it because I know I'm in great hands. After I get my cosmetic work done I'm going to continue to use Dr. Myers as my general dentist and just make that drive twice a year - they're that good. I was becoming very jaded about the dental industry until I found Dr. Myers, and I'm glad to know that there are still dentists out there that care about their patients and are skilled enough to do complex cosmetic work.
