I started going to Bayou Dental when it was run by Dr. Callahan senior. Nothing has changed under his son. It's the most pleasant dentist office and experience I have ever had. My kids have been going for 4 years, too. They are excellent with adults and kids alike

if it were possible to give this a 'negative star', I would. Do NOT go to this dentist. My brother in law is a patient of his, and he did a full extraction with dentures. The extraction became infected; the dentures looked nothing like the model and did not fit, requiring at least three additional visits; and his plates have broken not once, but THREE TIMES. Dr. Callahan has been completely unresponsive to these concerns, and does not even return calls, even to his emergency number. After speaking with other dentists/orthodontists, it's far from certain that my brother in law needed to have all of his teeth removed in the first place, and although it's way too late, my sister and brother-in-law and I wish with all of our hearts that he had not gone to Callahan to have all of this done. His license should be revoked.

I have had wonderful experiences with Dr. Callahan and his staff. I do not care for dental work especially the injections, but Dr. Callahan made me feel at ease and to my surprise I did not feel any discomfort when I was given an injection for a filling. Dr. Callahan explained everything he was doing for me step by step which I really liked. His staff was very friendly and answered all of my financial questions. I had a great experience and didnt break the bank! I will suggest all my family and friends call this office for their dental needs.
