On Weds. 07/23/08 I had tooth #30 prepared for a crown at a general dentist. By the 26th my temporary crown fell off and the pain was the worst thing I had ever felt. I suffered all weekend and went back to my general dentist the following Monday. I needed a root canal. By this point I was terrified of the whole dentist experience. I arranged an appointment first thing Tues morning with Dr. Thousand. I have to say I was scared as one could possibly be. Every dentist encounter up to this was horrible. The staff was very kind and patient with me. The Dr. was by all means the greatest. If all dentists were like him we would all go more often. First and most important to me was he had a calm way about him. Patient and kind. Soft spoken and kept me comfortable. His calmness was very relaxing. NO pain. Not even the needles. The whole root canal took about 1 hour. I went home thinking this is to good to be true. I thought when the medicine wears off I will be in pain. I am writing this 10 hours later and in no pain. I don't even need the motrin he gave me. Amazing. I would recommend this Dr. to anyone and I will every chance I get. Thank-you Dr. Thousand for saving my tooth and ending the worst pain I ever felt.
