I had a tooth break just before the 4th of July (naturally no one was open for the holiday) and had been taking ibuprofen quite regularly so that I would be able to do my job in the meantime. They were able to fit me into their busy schedule, but complications with the previous patient ended up taking more time than expected. So I could only get the x-rays and inspection before I had to leave for work. Luckily there was a slot open for the next day. They made sure I was sufficiently numb for the procedure and the extraction went fairly well considering the tooth was in a difficult to reach place and one of the roots snapped due to the pressure. To help with any pain I might feel later, he prescribed some medication and I have not had any problems in the 24 hours since.
