What a mess, coded my doctor visit incorrectly in Feb 2014...I called their billing company and advised them the diagnostic code was incorrect based on the info I got from my doc. In July, I asked them to resubmit to insurance with correct code. They sent the incorrect code again. NOW I get letters from a collection agency! Gainesville Radiology needs to find a new billing company

Terrible billing group! They deposited a "lost" payment so I paid twice. I have called 4 times and provided information. Still do not have my money back.

Terrible phone system but once you get a human on the phone they are easy to work with.

Their doctors are NOT the problem. Their billing/collection practices are. My portion of a bill was due on the 20th. I was still waiting for the dust to settle and to receive my EOB from the insurance company when I got a call that displayed "unknown" caller just a few days later. Unbelievably, it was a collection call from Gainesville Radiology. My credit is exemplary and I always pay my bills, yet this is the second time that this group has sent folks after me for payment. What is the deal? No other healthcare providers that I've encountered utlize such guerrilla tactics to collect payment. It is unfortunate that when you go to certain hospitals, they assign this group's radiologists to read your images - you don't have a say-so in the matter. The next time I have to have images taken and read, I will INSIST on an alternate radiology group--just to avoid Gainesville Radiology Group's unscrupulous collection practices. Ugh!

The services & doctors are excellent. Their billing company is unsatisfactory. When calling the billing office number in Indianapolis, you can only get an automated response from the billing number...It is impossible to speak with a human being about charges and/or insurance coverage. The automated response I received does not match the paper bill I received in the mail. GAINESVILLE RADIOLOGY GROUP...YOU NEED TO HIRE ANOTHER BILLING AGENCY.
