i went here many times before and it has always been great and very fast. today i went in for a toothache i explained that i had to call out of work yesterday because of my tooth hurting soo bad and i ended up throwing up due to how sick i was. i work the night shift so when i became that ill med stop was not open for me to get to at the time. so i toughened it out and waited till today to go. when i said i needed a dr slip for yesterday at work, dr JACKSON said no because he didn't see me yesterday. He also was giving me meds that i said i didn't want or need. He asked if i needed nausea meds and i said "no,i am fine now with nausea just still in pain and needing antibiotics" he responded "no ill give them to you anyway" i appreciate it his CONCERN but if hes that concerned and believed i was that sick last night to give me nausea meds even though he didnt have proof of that than he couldve wrote me a drs note for missing work yesterday!

Go here if you don't mind being charged nearly $300 for nothing. A "Dr" saw me for no more than 5 minutes and didn't do anything other than give me a prescription that I couldn't even use. Also, they've recently TRIPLED their fees, but I wasn't warned of this BEFORE receiving treatment....only when the bill arrived in the mail a couple of days ago. A few weeks after this visit, I went to one of the other Houston Healthcare Med Stops for a respiratory infection, and I was told of the recent TRIPLING of their fees at the front desk. That's when I walked out and went to AppleCare for more affordable treatment. The Houston Healthcare Med Stops are a ripoff for anyone with health insurance. If you don't have insurance, then it's probably a great place for you, but it's a ripoff for anyone with insurance. I was told that my fee would be $112 if I DIDN"T have insurance, but since I did have insurance, I was quoted a fee of $380 to be seen for a respiratory infection. Maybe if I didn't have to pay my high insurance premiums, I would have had the $380 to give them! This place is a waste of time and money. Go to AppleCare or your primary care physician instead.

We are from out of town (Michigan) and had to stop on our way back from Florida because of my son feeling ill. We were in and out in a 1/2 hour and everyone was so nice! Definitely recommend them!
